FAQ : Getting money out of Object
on 2010/6/8 17:17:25 (64 reads)
FAQ

Q: How do I get the money out of my donation box or tip jar?

Objects in Second Life cannot hold money.

When a tip jar or donation box is paid the funds immediately go to the owner of the object.

If another avatar is logged in to the object, or if percentage splitting is enabled, the funds may then automatically be transferred to other avatars.

In all ASD tipping products, the funds are moved from avatar to avatar instantly, and are never held by the object for any amount of time. The object merely keeps a tally of funds collected.

This also means that if the owner pays the object them-self, their Second Life balance will not change.
